YES!
SOME DANGEROUS MICROORGANISMS TAKE LONGER THAN JUST A FEW HOURS TO MAKE YOU SICK BECAUSE THEY HAVE LONGER INCUBATION PERIODS.

FACT: THE WORLD’S MOST HATED VEGETABLE IS ONE OF THE BEST FOR YOU

BRUSSELS SPROUTS IS PACKED FULL OF VITAMINS AND MINERALS, HAS VIRTUALLY NO CALORIES, NO FAT, NO CHOLESTEROL, AND IT FILLS YOU UP. BETTER YET, IT ALSO HAS AN ANTI-OXIDANTS THAT HAS SHOWN TO BE ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AND COULD FIGHT CANCER.

THERE’S MORE WATER IN CUCUMBER THAN WATERMELON
YES!
OKAY, NOT BY MUCH, BUT THIS IS STILL FUN TO KNOW THAT WATERMELON IS ABOUT 92% WATER, WHILE CUCUMBER IS 95%. THAT’S ACTUALLY THE SAME AS LETTUCE AND CELERY. IT’S ALSO SUPER LOW IN CALORIES, WITH JUST EIGHT PER SERVING.

WHILE THERE IS SOME EVIDENCE THAT ORGANIC PRODUCE HAS POTENTIAL HEALTH BENEFITS, THERE ARE NO DEFINITIVE CONCLUSIONS THAT ORGANIC IS BETTER. WHEN COMPARED WITH CONVENTIONALLY FARMED PRODUCE, ORGANIC PRODUCE HAS THE SAME VITAMINS, MINERALS, ANTIOXIDANTS, PROTEINS, LIPIDS AND OTHER NUTRIENTS.

ANYONE WHO EATS CONTAMINATED FOOD CAN CONTRACT A FOODBORNE ILLNESS, BUT SOME PEOPLE ARE AT AN INCREASED RISK. EATING CONTAMINATED FOODS GIVES GERMS DIRECT ACCESS TO THE STOMACH THROUGH THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM.
